Key Objectives for 2008

To provide a focus for activities and the FAB Steering Group, the 2008 AGM set FAB the following four key objectives for the year.
  • Become a defined, articulate organisation
(considering the benefits of, for example, charitable status and taking action to achieve the preferred status)
  • Complete the audit of Fairtrade retailers
(complete data collection and cleaning and publish the data)
  • Get organised
(identify activities and events for the year ahead, set targets and aims and assess progress at the end of the year. Further improve sharing of information and communication to support growth of the Fairtrade Supporters Network)
  • Develop new links in the community and partnerships
(develop links with schools, colleges and universities across the city, and encourage Birmingham businesses, particularly high profile companies, to demonstrate their commitment to Fairtrade)
