Fairtrade is about better prices, decent working conditions, local sustainability, and fair terms of trade for farmers and workers in the developing world.

Birmingham has been a Fairtrade City since 2005.

It has chosen to add its voice to demands for a trade system that puts people, not profit, at the heart of the transaction.

Fairtrade products are now available from over 200 retail and catering outlets across our city and are used by a large number of local work places and community organisations.
