This Harvest Festival we are asking Faith-Groups of all kinds, to hold small-scale producers, farmers and agricultural workers and their families in their prayers. We are asking you to think local and to think global, because our local farmers and producers and those in far away lands, equally deserve our thoughts and where possible our help. Everything that’s available as Fairtrade, isn’t available as local. So we ask communities to think of both local food producers and those farmers far-off, eking out a living on the land and include Fairtrade products and local products in Harvest-Festival-giving this season.
